S.A.F.E. MULE with Pack Animal
The S.A.F.E. Multi-Utility LoadEr or MULE, with the Pack Animal accessory installed, is operated by one operator using a remote control. It is a small but powerful tracked vehicle designed for use on unimproved ground or where environmental conditions are more favorable to the use of a tracked vehicle, such as snow on a tarmac. The S.A.F.E. MULE is designed to load and unload heavy palletized cargo from an aircraft or transport vehicle or even from the ground and then transport it to another location on its integrated cargo platform. It can operate in up to 2 feet of mud/water with the diesel engine raised. The cargo platform has integrated rollers, enabling one person to properly position and then load or unload safely The cargo platform can be raised to match the cargo transporting equipment, making the MULE capable of loading and unloading safely and easily with minimal personnel; usually, just the operator is needed. The S.A.F.E. MULE is capable of towing vehicles or a loaded trailer for repositioning. Users needing such capability may use it on a construction site or any other area where effective and efficient mobility on unimproved ground is warranted, where an operator need to be a safe distance away for a load being received or delivered, or the environmental conditions warrant a non-wheeled vehicle such as deep mud around a construction site.
