Our Internal Fuel Tank (A.K.A. ERFS) Roller System and Shoring product line was designed by a former Chinook flight engineer with over 2000 hours of first hand flight experience. S.A.F.E. is the only company licensed to manufacture and distribute the patented proprietary roller and shoring systems. Key Factors of the S.A.F.E. Roller System: SAFE offers two options which are the cylinder style and ball style. The Cylinder Style Roller System allows the Internal Fuel Tank (ERFS) be moved directionally in and out of the aircraft. The Ball Style Roller System allows the Internal Fuel Tank (ERFS) to be moved in any direction 360 degrees which allows the user to easily position the tank into exact locations. Key Factors of the S.A.F.E. Shoring System: The Internal Fuel Tank Shoring offers a uniform size while still maintaining access to the winch. The aft ramp of the shoring allows for easy loading of the fuel tank when used in combination with S.A.F.E Structure’s Roller System. This revolutionary design allows passage of the winch cable through the body of the shoring, thus maintaining the maximum potential of the winch without the use of tackle blocks. As an incorporated safety measure, the shoring contains the winch cable protecting crew members in the event of cable rupture. Additionally, items in this product line are fully compatible with the 463-L Cable Enabled Loading System to further promote crew member safety and efficiency.
